Hiiii everyone!
First off: you might have noticed that I've been a bit absent the past week. I'm very busy with studying for my exams until the end of January (yeah, yay...), so I will be posting a little less until then :) Don't worry, I will definitely still post once a week and try to keep up with all of your blogs - it's nice to relax while looking at all of your nail art and swatches ;)
Now, into the blog post! I have another WingDust polish for you today! Like the others, I also won this one a while ago. It's called Peaches Be Trippin'! and it's just FILLED with glitter!

Christmas Sweater Sparkles
Hiii!!
As you will probably know already, it's almost Christmas! :D (Emily will be so excited lol!)
I decided it was finally time to create a Christmas design. I'm not really a person to make seasonal appropriate nail art - I just do designs when I think of them. So I don't feel the need to create a whole bunch of Christmassy designs just because it's that time of the year.

Guest Post at NailTalk!
Hiiii!!
Today you can find me over at NailTalk, Miriam's blog :) I'm doing a guest post there, and you can check it out here!
The post is written in Dutch, so I will quickly sum up the polishes I used here for you in English :)
Two coats of No 29M (Safari Nail Polish) on all nails; 2 coats of Wicked (Claire's) on thumb and ring finger, 1 coat of Color 48 (Fogan Cosmetics) and 1 coat of Glitterazzi (Catrice) on pinky and pointer finger. The mermaid nail charm is from She Sells Sea Shells.
I hope you will go check out my post at NailTalk - even though it's written in Dutch, there are still plenty of pictures to look at! And you MUST check out Miriam's designs, she is amazing and is such a source of inspiration! Thank you! :)

Guest Post from Franzi (FrankieHuntersNails)!
Hi everyone!
Today I have something really exciting for you: the first guest post ever on my blog!
I did a few guest posts myself for other people in the past, and I thought it was time to have a few on my blog now too :)
It's an honour to have the lovely Franzi from FrankieHuntersNails do this first guest post! She is such a sweet and supportive person. I've known her for a while now and have been following her blog for a long time. It amazes me how much progress Franzi has made in the past year: not only does her nail art keep getting better, but her writing and pictures have improved a lot too! I love that about following a blog for a long time, you really see people improve :)
Okay, I will stop talking now! Franzi, take it away!
Hy ladies!
My name is Franziska and I run my blog FrankieHuntersNails since November 2013. I fell in love with nail art the year before and decided to start my own blog, after discovering that there is a huge community and because I wanted to share my work with others.

Haunted Houndstooth
BOOOOOOHH!! *spooky voice*
I finally have a proper Halloween design! To be honest, in my country we don't really celebrate Halloween. We often get together with friends, dress up a bit scary and then watch a creepy movie (which I don't even like because, well, they're creepy!). But the looking forward to Halloween like people seem to do in America, we don't really have that here. Hence why I don't really do a lot of Halloween designs; I just don't feel it. But now and then, I get in the spooky spirit!
Anyway, I wasn't sure beforehand if I'd have the time to create a new design for Halloween because I've been swamped with school work, but I was able to squeeze it in luckily!

Dark Magic Gradient
*Disclaimer: some items in this post have been previously received for review.
HIIIIII!!!
I am SO SO EXCITED about today's design!! I love it I love it I love it! And I hope you will too :D
I did a sort of halloween design, but not the typical one; I decided to create some vampy "dark magic" nails that a witch would wear on a daily basis ;) And well, since these look so magical in real life, I decided to have some *magical* pictures to match it! (meaning: aristicly waving my hands about on pictures lol)

Cuties for Becca!
Hello everyone!
A little bunny told me today is Becca's birthday! You might all know Becca from Not Your Average Nails already - I did a mani swap with her a few months ago! If you don't, get your ass over to her blog and be baffled by all her amazing designs.
Her friend Brit contacted me on Tumblr and asked me if I wanted to do some celebratory nail art for Becca's birthday. I'm always in the mood for this type of thing! Plus, Becca is super nice so she deserves some birthday love!
I didn't want to do something really birthday-ish with balloons because I had to wear these nails for a few days to work. So I decided to show Becca my love by recreating one of her designs!

Minty Windows
Hi everyone!
I have a bit of nail art for you today! I was inspired by the unearthly beautiful "Window to my Soul" design by Glitterfingersss - you can see it here. Super pretty right?
I decided to not recreate the design, but to do something similar. I was in a minty mood, and gold goes great together with mint ;) So I picked Miss Minty by Gosh and Vampire Vanity by Bourjois for this design.

Maybelline Acid Wash - Ripped Tide Swatch
Hi everyone!
I have a little swatch for you today! The Maybelline Acid Wash collection came out a few months ago, but it was only last month that these polishes finally arrived in my local polish store - ugh. I had to wait for ages to get my hands on one, and can you believe it now, I actually don't like them after swatching them.

1 Year Blogiversary!!
KITTENS!! As you might have guessed by my obnoxious banner, it's my one year blogiversary today!
I actually thought I had a few more days until my one year blogiversary, but apparently it was today! So I'm writing this celebratory blog post more in a hurry than I had anticipated.
Anyway: yay! I did it! I have been blogging for a year! When I started this blog, I didn't really invest a lot of time in it. It was like a second place on the Internet for me, whereas my nail Tumblr came first. This has changed. Like seriously changed so so much: my blog is my favourite medium ever now. It's my home on the Internet, it's my own private place where I can write what I want and show you what I want! My Tumblr, Facebook page and all the other things have become a gateway to the blog: I post pictures and sneak previews there, but I can't really let my heart out and write enormous amounts of text like I can on this blog. And I LOVE writing enormous amounts of text :D
To celebrate, I'm going to take a trip down memory lane with you all and show you some of the biggest and most fun events that have happened with my blog the past year.
Hipster Harry Potter
Disclaimer: some items in this post have been previously received for review.
Potterheads rejoice, for your hearts will be warmed by today's design!
A few weeks ago I won a giveaway hosted by Accio Lacquer (if you are not following her already, GO! NOW!). The prize was a set of vinyl nail decals of Harry Potter by Lacquer By Lissa. I picked the colour silver because I thought it'd look great with a galaxy design - so I've had this design in mind for quite some time now! I showed you the galaxy design already here, so we'll go straight on to the decals!

GALAXY NAILS!! WHOOT! SPACE PARTY!!!
As you can see from my introduction, I'm quite enthousiastic about these. This is my second attempt at galaxy nails (you can see the first one here - and here is an added bonus!) and I decided to go with the classic space colour: blue.

ILNP - Birefringence
Hello fellow polish enthusiasts! Rejoice, for I have a gorgeous polish to show you today!
I bought ILNP's Birefringence a few months ago after lusting for it for quite some time. It looked gorgeous in pictures, and especially the description made me all warm and fuzzy inside. Barbra, the owner of ILNP, says:
"I do not possess the linguistic capacity to express the “awesomeness” of this nail polish. But for you, I’ll try. Birefringence is a jaw droppingly beautiful polish that effortlessly stops people in their tracks. Planning on having a meaningful face-to-face conversation with a friend? Plan on an abrupt derailment as soon as he/she notices what your nails are up to. Remember though, it’s not their fault; you were warned! Birefringence shifts through an array of incredible blues, purples, reds, oranges, yellows, and even subtle greens!"
I HAD to have this multichrome. And now I do. And it did NOT disappoint me :D Honestly, conversations WERE derailed when people noticed my nails - Barba was not exaggerating.
I used two easy coats of Birefringence + top coat, no black polish underneath.

Mani Swap With Not Your Average Nails
Yay reader, you are all witness to an historical event today: my first mani swap! And you are also witness to another historical moment on this blog: I've added a little logo to my pictures! :D
Becca from Not Your Average Nails and I are doing our first mani swap together - and I couldn't be more excited about it! After I had commented a few times on her amazing designs and how I would love to recreate them, Becca suggested we do a mani swap together! I had a lot of her designs on my "to recreate" wishlist, so I was more than eager to say yes!

Let's Celebrate Nailpolis!
Hiya!
Today's design is my entry for the Nailpolis 1.000.000 Facebook fans contest! If you haven't heard of Nailpolis by now, it's an online "museum for nail art" where nail artists upload their work, can "like" other people's designs (kind of like on Tumblr) and get featured. You can also earn badges when you've done certain designs - I have a Watermelon Lover badge and a Space Explorer badge for example :) I love the badge idea!
For this contest, you had to make a festive design. Every entrant gets a limited edition badge and a gift certificate of $5 to spend in Live Love Polish, a new online polish store. I decided to take the "festive" theme literal, and painted some wrapped gifts and balloons with acrylic paint :)

Shimmer Polish - Alice
*Disclaimer: this product was provided for review. All opinions in this blogpost are my own and are not influenced by anything of anyone.
Goodmorning! Or goodnight, depending on your time zone.
Today I have another gorgeous Shimmer Polish to show you. I recently bought Pool Party from Ciaté, which is a vibrant (almost neon) blue. I thought it would pair great with Shimmer Polish Alice, which has holographical silver hexagons and circle glitters of various sizes in a clear base. There are also silver stars in this polish, but I did not get one out - which is pretty normal, as I didn't put the polish upside down beforehand and I only ever used the top layer of polish to put on my sponge. Next time I'm using this polish, I'll definitely be on the lookout for some stars! :)
Alice is really pretty, and because she consists of only silver glitter she can be combined with pretty much any polish colour. She can look soft and elegant, but at the same time she can be really eye catching, depending on how you combine her.

Happy Birthday Sanne! - Black & White Recreation
Hi everyone!
Today's post is a bit special - it's to celebrate someone's birthday! And to be more specific: Sanne of Nail Polish In My Eyes's birthday :) It was actually yesterday, but I only managed to publish this post today oops.
Her boyfriend Ron contacted me and a bunch of other bloggers to ask if we wanted to collaborate on a birthday surprise for her, and yes of course I wanted to help! We just had to create some nail art and Ron would bundle everything in a surprise birthday blog post for Sanne. I thought the idea was too sweet not to participate :)
I haven't been following Sanne's blog for very long (I actually discovered her through OMD2!) but I love her designs. So for Sanne's birthday, I decided to recreate on of her designs to show how inspiring she is.
