Bourjois Paris - Dangerous Wish
Bonjour! (it seemed fitting to start this post in French as the polish I'm showing you today is from Bourjois Paris)
I'm currently still settling in in the new appartment and haven't been able to do new nail art (though I'm working on a review right now, so expect that soon!), so I decided to give you a post that has been sitting in my Draft space - until now!
In July's polish haul post you read how I bought Dangerous Wish from Bourjois Paris - I must say, I really like this polish. I used two thick coats, no top coat for my swatches. Dangerous Wish is a black jelly with gold holographic hexes in it (two sizes). It applied really easy, the glitter spread out nicely and it dried fast (not the 50 seconds fast the bottle promises, but I never believe those things anyway). Plus I got great coverage with just two coats.
Sorry for the odd hand pose - those Bourjois bottles are really hard to pose with due to their odd shape! All of these pictures were taken in my light box with artificial lighting, but I suspect the holo will be even more visible in sun light! (I took all these pictures on a cloudy day so no sun for Dangerous Wish sadly).
A blurry picture to finish this post, so you can see the holographic goodness more clearly:
Sparkle sparkle! I think Dangerous Wish was part of the 2013 Halloween collection from Bourjois Paris, and I really liked it when it first came out but this particular polish was sold out everywhere then! I'm glad I found it (on sale!), as it was really easy to use and is so pretty!
What do you think of Dangerous Wish? Does anyone own any other polishes by Bourjois Paris? I only own this one and a golden leaf topper so I'm curious how their crème polishes are :)
Thanks for reading! ;)

This looks great :-D WOW!
ReplyDeleteHope the move went well? :-)
The move went well yes! It was a bit stressy but we got everything done in time and nothing got damaged so I'm happy! Thanks for asking! :)
DeleteI do own a few shades from Bourjois (I rarely buy french brands haha) and I never really liked them, I do not like their formula actually :/
ReplyDeleteOoh that's interesting to hear! I did like this one but the formula is definitely different from creme polishes :) I think I'll try a Bourjois creme sometime and see how I find it :)
Deletethis polish is awesome Robin- looks gorgeous on your nails almost like some diamonds inside the rock. Love it!!!
ReplyDeleteAww thank you! That is a gorgeous description! :)
DeleteThat looks like a wonderful glitter! Maybe I should make a trip across the border to see if they have this in Canada--I've seen this brand there but not closer to home.
ReplyDeleteThanks Karen! It's a shame when you can't find a certain brand in your country :/ But I always find it exciting when you can find it in another country, so you can say "yeah I got this from Italy" or whatever :D
DeleteI don't have any cremes by the brand. This one is murky and shiny ;) I usually rarely wear black on nails.
ReplyDeleteI don't often wear black either, but I do like it sometimes and this one has extra sparkle :D
DeleteAnd it looks classy :)
DeleteHehe it does! Thanks!
DeleteI have a Dangerous Wish :) I want this polish. I fell in love with it instantly, I really need to look up for it! Gorgeous swatch!
ReplyDeleteHaha you made me laugh! Thanks Andrea!

ReplyDeleteEcht he, heel leuk!
DeleteI love how glamorous this polish looks, black + gold sparkles is a perfect combination! You moved without breaking a nail? that's really impressive haha :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Lucy! Haha yes I did! I was super surprised myself :D Unfortunately I did break a nail now when I tried to open my shampoo bottle :/ Ah, the hazards of showering! Luckily it didn't break far!
