Hi everyone!

Today I have a Born Pretty Store review for you all! I tried out a cute lipstick charm as you can see.

  • What?: Lipstick charms! You get 3 pieces of these so if you lose one, you're still able to make an accent nail on both hands. They're 7mm*13mm.
  • Price?: These are $3.19 right now.
  • Where can you get it?: Here's the item link on Born Pretty Store!
  • What do I think?: I like these! They're a bit big but still cute for designs.

I used OPI Big Apple Red and Catrice Goldbusters as my base polishes. I paired the lipstick charm with my Marilyn Monroe water decals from BPS (which I reviewed here) and also did some stamping with a MoYou Pro plate 04 and with the gold stamping polish from BPS (reviewed here).

I already mentioned that this charm is a bit big: it almost covers the entire length of my nail so if your nails are shorter than mine, it would probably look weird. If they're longer or the same length as mine, this charm would look great!

In the two pictures below you can see the thickness of the lipstick charm very well. It's also a bit curved which I find annoying, because only the gold part of the charm can be glued to your nail this way and the top half can snatch on stuff. You definitely need some nail glue for this charm - top coat polish won't work because charms are too heavy and big.

Either way, this lipstick charm is very cute, and I love the little rhinestones in it!! I personally wouldn't be able to wear this more than a day though because of the thickness, but I do like it as an accent nail for a day/night.

If you like these, you can order them here on Born Pretty Store. Also, feel free to use my discount code XDX31 to get 10% off on all your orders!

Thanks for reading!

  1. The whole mani looks great! Great design. The charm is cute but it sticks out so it may be uncomfortable.

    1. Yes it's definitely not meant to wear for more than a day! I'm glad you like the design! :)

  2. I usually don't like such big charms, because they don't stay on the nails and they caught in everything, but I love the manicure idea very much. The charm goes very well together with the Marilyn M. decal and the polishes you used for this mani pare up very well.
