Hi all!
I have a review of some Born Pretty Store cuticle tattoos for you today! As a kid, I loved stick-on tattoos, so this review is kind of taking me back to those childhood memories ;)
- What?: Cuticle tattoos from Born Pretty Store. There are 8 patterns to choose from - I picked NCT-001.
- Price?: These cuticle tattoos are $2.46 right now. For this price you get one sheet with 20 tattoos on it, in different sizes.
- Where can you get it?: Here's the item link on BPS!
- What do I think?: These are so cool!! And easy to apply as well.
On the back of the package there's instructions on how to apply the temporary tattoos:
- You will need: the tattoos, some water, a paper towel, and sciccors.
- Make sure your skin and cuticles are clean.
- Choose the correct size of tattoos for your fingers.
- Cut out the tattoos you want and peel off the plastic. Put the paper with the tattoo on on your cuticle (the tattoo side faced down onto your cuticle).
- Use a wet paper towel or wet cotton ball and press it onto the paper with the tattoo on your skin. Wait 30 seconds, and peel the paper off.
Here you can see the different sizes of tattoos (after I already cut 3 out, oops). I used the second smallest size for my pinky and the fourth smallest size on my index finger.
I used the biggest size on my accent nails - I cut the tattoo in half while it was still on the paper and with the plastic on top. Then I just applied it onto my nails as I had applied the tattoos on my skin. I added top coat on my nails too.
In the picture below you can see how everything looked right after I applied it. I had some trouble with placing the tattoo straight in the midle of my cuticles. The tattoo that I cut in half to use on my accent nails, is a bit bigger than I had anticipated so it comes accross the borders of my nails accidentally.
So I did some clean-up with polish remover and the tattoo came off immediately where I wanted it to - very easy! I loved that the tattoos on my accent nails came a bit over my nail art the top, so I left it like that :)
I removed some parts of the tattoos on my cuticles to make it less noticeable that I had placed them a bit crooked haha.
I think these are so cool, and I will definitely use them again. I also loved how you can use them on your nails too!
Now, how long do these last?
Today while I was wearing them, I had an accident with the tattoo on my index finger - it did not survive a close encounter of the bad kind with scotch tape while I was packaging a present for my friend's birthday. So, keep your temporarily tattood body parts away from scotch tape lol!
I also made dinner today, typed some stuff on my computer for school, and ironed a giant pile of clothes. After all of this, I noticed that the left side of the tattoo on my pinky started to lift off a bit - only the see-through parts are lifting, though (on the left side in the close-up):
They also survived doing the dishes after I took this picture, but the next day they did not survive the shower. Or well, they would probably have survived it but I couldn't contain myself to pick the lifting edges off.
If you like these, you can use my BPS discount code XDX31 to get 10% off on your orders from BPS.
