Mani Swap With Jayna from The Sequined Nail!

Hi!!

Today's post features a mani swap!! (lol I first typed "man swap" haha!)

The very sweet Jayna from The Sequined Nail asked me to do a mani swap with her a totally big while ago, but as you know, life always get in the way! (well, life and school work, mostly)

Luckily we both have found some time to do this swap now, and I'm so glad about it!! Jayna is a super sweet girl who makes really gorgeous and cute designs. I think she always does such cheerful and happy designs, and I'm really jealous at how consistent her hand poses are!! (seriously, her hand is flawlessly positioned the same every time and it looks amazing in collages) It might be an odd compliment but I do mean it :)

So, which design of Jayna's did I decide to recreate?

I love a lot of her designs, and even though one of my absolute favourites of hers is this super pretty gradient with glitter, I didn't have any glitter that was similar enough and I didn't want to spoil the design by using a totally different glitter topper. So I decided upon these dreamcatcher nails, which are also definitely in my top picks of Jayna's designs!

I also love mint polishes so that was another reason to pick it ;) I used Miss Minty by Gosh, Goldbusters by Catrice, and instead of a purple glitter I used a gold one: Honeycomb by Claire's.

Jayna has a tutorial for these nails on her blog here, and I pretty much followed those steps. Apparently it's been a while since I tried to do detailed nail art, because the lines didn't turn out as thin and neat as I would have wanted!! I definitely need to start doing more detailed nail art again soon :)

I still love how this turned out though!! Jayna's design is just SO cute, and looking at my nails made me happy. I wore this design for my birthday party and my friends loved it!

Now, which design of mine has Jayna decided to recreate?

She picked my "Monochrome Geometric with a Splash of Purple"!! (lol I'm so bad at post titles) You can see my original version here and here is Jayna's awesome recreation!!

I love that she picked that design because it's one of my favourite designs I've ever done! I also loooove her recreation, it looks amazing on her nails so be sure to check it out!! :D

Thanks again Jayna for doing a mani swap with me, it was fun and I loved wearing your design! :D And thanks everyone else for reading!
