Let's Get Vampy with Shimmer Polish Vanessa

Hi! It's Shimmer time again!!

I have the seductive Vanessa  for you today, She has a clear base with silver and slate gray glitters as the primary colours. Of course there's also red, blue, and even some green glitters thrown in there!

As always with Shimmer Polishes, I had no issues with application at all and the glitters stayed on nicely without snatching at stuff or without curling. I used three coats of Vanessa on my middle and ring finger - as you can see, she covers very well on her own.

The polishes I used for the gradient are: Catrice Caught on the Red Carpet, Burgundy Kiss by Maybelline, and Black Passion from Only You.

I created a vampy gradient on my index finger and pinky because I thought the red and black would match great with Vanessa. I love how this gradient turned out, so sexy! It was a total pain to clean it up though, red stains everywhere in my cuticles!

That's really all there is to this design. Lots of patience and a sponge :D

I also took a macro polish brush shot!

And here's a close-up of Vanessa on my nails (three coats with top coat):

Voila! What do you think of Vanessa? I think she's gorgeous and I love the red and blue glitter she has.

You can find Shimmer Polishes here in the Etsy shop and here are even more to choose from on the Shimmer blog.

Shimmers come in bottles of 15ml and are $12 (10,75€). You can look at more designs with Vanessa here on the Shimmer blog! Thanks for reading!

    1. Thank you Ananka!! That gradient was so hard to clean up!! That will teach me to definitely put some scotch tape on my skin before doing a gradient :)
