Vampy Gradient with Shimmer Polish Eva

*Disclaimer: some items in this blog post were previously received for review.

Hi!!

I have a gorgeously sexy polish for you today!

I already swatched Shimmer Eva for you (here), I had really long nails then and I put Eva on top of another red polish. I also had a different lighting setup then, and that has improved a lot now so I wanted to show you Eva again. This time, I swatched her on her own, and Oh my.

She has a red jelly base with black and red fine glitter. I also spot some silver glitter in there too.

This is two coats of Eva with top coat. You need a good amount of top coat to smooth this polish out, it's a bit gritty with all the fine glitters otherwise. But once you do that, see how amazing she looks!

And a macro shot:

I decided to do a gradient with Eva. I sponged the gradient on top of her, and also used some striping tape to create that line-y effect on my middle and ring finger.

I used Shimmer Polish Eva, Maybelline's Burgundy Kiss, and Black Passions by Only You.

What do you think? I'm not sure about the striping tape experiment, but I do like the vampy gradient! And I LOVE Eva on her own a lot too, so sexy!

Thanks for reading!

p.s.: I might have a shimmery surprise for you soon ;)

  2. I really like that it has my name but I don't really like the polish :( I guess the striping tape doesn't really work because the colours are too close together :) The gradient looks cool though!

  4. I am not a red polish fan, but this one is ....WOOOOW, unique and so cool! Love the glitter particles in it, they make it look very special and the dark and deep shade of it is just perfect. You managed to look so edgy and mysterious with the nail art. I like it very much!

  10. Amazing as ever! As the ladies before, I'm also not that into reds, I always think my hands look so "old" with red polish on my nails, dunno why, but this thought always springs to my mind immediately! But the glitter polish is really cool!

    1. Thanks Franzi!! Haha that's a funny idea that your hands look old with red polish! But yeah I understand you, I really dislike some colours on me too - mostly yellowish beige colours which clash with my skin tone :)
