Born Pretty Store Review - Stamping Plate BP-51

*Disclaimer: some items in this blog post were provided for review. All opinions expressed are my own and are not influenced by anyone or anything.

Hiii!

I have a Born Pretty Store review for you today! I received two cute stamping plates of their own brand, and I'm going to show you the first one.

You can see the plate here on their website. It's plate BP-51 and it has 9 images on it: some feathers, a few patterns with hearts, flowers, windmills and some paisley prints.

The plate arrives in a very pretty sleeve (as you can see in the picture below) and it also has a blue protective film on top to make sure it doesn't get scratches during its shipment to you.

I decided to use the hearts image of this plate to create a cute Valentine's Day design!

I did two coats of Sinful Colors Snow Me White as a base on my pointer finger and pinky, and added two coats of Essie Muchi, Muchi. I also used a dotting tool to make dots with Love.Angel.Music.Baby. on top of Muchi, Muchi.

I also did two coats of OPI L.A.M.B. on my middle and pointer finger and stamped with Maybelline Blackout.  I didn't add top coat on any of my nails because I love the satin finish of L.A.M.B.!

The stamping went really great, I didn't have any issues with the plate and my stamper picked up the image just fine. There's of course a few mistakes here and there, but I'm still a newbie at stamping so please forgive me :) All in all, I'm happy how this came out!

Price?: This stamping plate costs $2.99. You get one stamping plate with nine images on it.
You don't get a scraper or a stamper with it, but you can find many stampers on Born Pretty Store - I bought this one from there and I'm very happy with it. I also used that one for the stamping in this post.

In case you want to see the measurements of the plate, I copied this image from BPS:

Where can you get it?: You can find this stamping plate here on Born Pretty Store. They have a lot of stamping plates on there, so you can browse around here as well to check out some others :)

The final verdict: I really like this one! I love the cute heart design, and I can see myself using that line pattern and those feather images a lot!

Discount? Yep! You can use the code XDX31 to get 10% discount on all your orders from Born Prety Store!

What do you think of this stamping plate? What image do you like most?

Thanks for reading!

    1. I'm so glad I found L.A.M.B.!! I passed on it when it first came out and only bought Push & Shove, but afterwards I was really bummed I didn't pick it up. I was really excited when I finally found it in a small nail salon after searching for a long time!! Thanks Eva!

    1. Thank you so much, your comment totally made my day!! :D It's a super cute sleeve right?! I'm not sure if all their plates have it though, so I can only give you my theory about it:

I received two of their newly released plates for review, and they both had this pretty sleeve. Last time (about 1.5 months ago) I got a similar plate for review but that didn't have the pretty sleeve though. So either they only give the pretty sleeve with the new plates, or they have only recently started shipping their plates in the pretty sleeves, I'm not sure. Sorry I can't be of more help!

    2. Is it normal, that I don't get a notification or anything when somebody answers my comments? I always thought nobody answers me hahaha but today I discovered that although I click "Notify me! that I don't receive anything. Strange.

Yes I also received one without sleeve a couple of months ago but I get one for review hopefully the next couple of days (they say they shipped it 4 weeks ago) then we probably know more :)

    3. Oh wow I had never even seen that "notify me" button before!! I just clicked it so we'll see what happens, I'm not sure if it works :/ I don't think Blogger is the best platform for receiving notifications on comments, I think Bloglovin is better but I haven't made my mind up yet about switching to it. Ooh I hope you get the pretty sleeve then!!! :D

    4. Update: I got an email saying that I commented on here!! Maybe it only works when I comment on my own blog and not when people answer my comments on other blogs though. I will be sure to check it out!
