Blue Galaxy Nails

GALAXY NAILS!! WHOOT! SPACE PARTY!!!

As you can see from my introduction, I'm quite enthousiastic about these. This is my second attempt at galaxy nails (you can see the first one here - and here is an added bonus!) and I decided to go with the classic space colour: blue.

For my first galaxy design I followed a tutorial by Lucy's Stash, and I just did about the same thing again now. Polishes used are:

No. 44 - D'Orleac
Urban Jungle - Essie
Unnamed lilac polish - Guylond
Lapiz of Luxury - Essie
No. 29M - Safari Nail Polish
Alice - Shimmer Polish

I used the dark blue D'Orleac as a base colour and sponged on the other colours. It sometimes ended up a bit too dark or a bit too light, so I sponged over it again with the polishes to create this final result. I wanted to add some extra sparkle, and decided to sponge on Alice from Shimmer Polish.

I finished it off by painting some dots and stars with white acrylic paint, and added my Fast Drying Top Coat from Only You.

I REALLY REALLY like how these turned out! I love the white smokey cloudy effect a lot. I'm also a big fan of the extra Alice sparkle (it's holographical so in sunlight it would be even more magical)

What do you think? When I compare this one to my first attempt, I like this version better, how about you?

I added something extra to these nails afterwards, but that's for another blog post so stay tuned! Thanks for reading! :)
