Shimmer Polish - Jenny

*Disclaimer: this item was received for review. All opinions expressed are my own and are not influenced by anyone or anything.

Hi everyone!

Today's post features Shimmer Polish Jenny with a lovely bright blue glitter mix.

What polish?
Shimmer Polish Jenny. She has a clear base and is mainly filled with a variety of blue glitters. There's also purple, green, yellow, orange and some other colours thrown in too, as this bottle shot shows:

Price?
Shimmers come in bottles of 15ml and are $12.

Formula?
Jenny was easy to apply and the glitters didn't drag or curl.

Coats?
For the swatch with Jenny on her own, I did 4 coats. Normally I can always get coverage in 3 coats with Shimmers, but Jenny does dry quickly so it was okay. Next time I would layer her on top of a bright blue creme!
For the gradient design, I did 1 coat of Jenny.

Where can you find it?
You can find Shimmer Polish Jenny in the Etsy store here!

Here's Jenny on her own (4 coats) - I felt like Queen Elsa from Frozen while wearing her like this! :D

I also did a gradient design with OPI My Vampire is Buff and Sally Hansen Satin Glam Taffeta. There's some light yellow and purple glitter in Jenny so I wanted to do a gradient in similar colours.

And to finish, a close-up of both designs!

What do you think of the lovely Jenny? You can look at more designs with her on the Shimmer website here. And the Etsy shop is here!

Thanks for reading!

    1. Thanks Eva! I loved the purple glitters in Jenny so I knew I wanted to do a gradient with purple as well :)

  3. I always admire Shimmers and this one is no exception! Lovely combo of glitters, 4 coats are too much but you can always put less on an opaque polish.
