Shimmer Polish - Vivian

*Disclaimer: this item was provided for review. All opinions expressed are my own and are not influenced by anyone or anything.

Hi everyone!

I have the stunning Shimmer Polish Vivian for you today, in two designs.

You might recognize the one with the flowers from this previous post but I wanted to include some pictures of it here again because it shows Vivian so great. I also have a new design with Vivian to show you though ;)

What polish?
Shimmer Polish Vivian. She has a slightly brownish base (you can see that clearly in this swatch by My Nail Polish Online) and is described as a "dusty rose" with pinks and grays.
I would very much agree with that description: Vivian has a bit of a vintage feel, which I love. There's also some light green, white and blue glitters in Vivian which complement the pink very well.

Price?
Shimmers come in bottles of 15ml and are $12.

Formula?
Vivian was really easy to use, she has the typical Shimmer Polish formula: a slightly thicker base which seals in all the glitters perfectly, but still very easy to work with. Vivian has great glitter pay off, the glitters don't curl or bleed and I didn't have to fish either.

Coats?
For the design with the flowers, I did one coat of Vivian (plus top coat) on top of black.
For the design with the stamping, I did one coat of Vivian on top of a grey/purple on my index finger and pinky. On my ring finger there's three coats of Vivian on her own.

Where can you find it?
You can find Shimmer Polish Vivian in the Etsy store here!

I actually had TOO MANY PRETTY BRUSH SHOTS of Vivian to properly pick one - I suppose it's really hard to take an ugly picture of such an elegant polish ;) So I made a little collage with the best ones! I absolutely love the vintage feel that Vivian has.

You already saw this design with Vivian:

And here's the new design with Vivian!

I used the following polishes:

Only You Stormy Monday, b.pretty chrome Inchromnia (for stamping) and Shimmer Polish Vivian. I also used a MoYou plate I got as a gift from Jacqui.

I am again really digging how this turned out. My stamping could have been better, but I adore the colour combinations together and Vivian is just amazing, I love her colours!

I also have some close-ups! Left is one coat of Vivian on top of black, right is three coats of Vivian on her own.

You can view more designs with Vivian here on the Shimmer blog, and again, here's the Etsy shop.

What do you think of her? I think she's so classy and I can see myself using her often. She's nice and soft without being boring!

Thanks for reading!
