Shimmer Polish - Tracy

*Disclaimer: this item was provided for review. All opinions are my own and are not influenced by anyone or anything.

It's Shimmer time again!!

When my first batch of Shimmer Polishes were all swatched and reviewed, (you can click here for a recap) I was very lucky to receive some more! I'll be showing you these glitter bombs in the coming months, and I'm starting with Tracy!

Tracy is described as a "tarnished gold with bars". The base is clear, and the primary colour is indeed gold. But as you know, Shimmers are never that simple!! There's a gorgeous glitter mix going on here, with little bars (the good kind!), hexes, microglitter and even some squares, all in various colours: I spotted orange, red, turquoise, green and light pink. And well, a lot of gold obviously :D

Tracy looks so luxurious! Like all Shimmer Polishes I've tried so far, she applies great: the glitters spread out nicely, they don't curl or stick out, and even without top coat the surface is quite smooth so the glitters don't catch on stuff.

I used Sinful Colors Snow Me White, Catrice Goldbusters, and Shimmer Polish Tracy for this design. On my ring finger I did three thick coats of Tracy and as you can see, full coverage, yay!

On my index finger and pinky, I did one coat of Tracy on top 2 coats of Snow Me White. On my thumb, I kept it simple with Goldbusters. I used my Fast Drying Top Coat from Only You.

And I also used a very cute bow charm from She Sells Sea Shells.

Some macro pictures (I still have some trouble getting them entirely in focus, so sorry!) But you can see the lovely mix of colors really good on my index finger (3 coats).

What do you think of Tracy? This is such a versatile polish, you can do so many design with a classy gold glitter! She's a great addition to my collection :)

Shimmer Polishes come in bottles of 15ml and are $12. You can find them on the Shimmer Etsy shop or you can look at an even wider selection of Shimmers here on the website.

If you want to look at some more designs with our classy Tracy, you can click here to go to the gallery in the Shimmer website :) (there's some seriously gorgeous designs with her there so if you have some time, definitely check it out!)

Thanks for reading!
