Born Pretty Store Review - Bow Water Decals & Golden Chain

*Disclaimer: these items were received for review. All opinions expressed are my own and are not influenced by anyone or anything.

Hi!

I'm back from my exam isolation, with another Born Pretty Store review!

I got 4 items from them to review, and you already saw the black nail art pen last time (here). In this blog post, I will combine two of the items for review because I came up with a cool design to use them both at once :D

I'm talking about these adorable bow water decals and this cool golden chain!

I used Rimmel's New Romantic for this design. (4 coats and still no full coverage as you sadly can see in these pictures)

On the back of the water decals, you get instructions on how to use them:

Easy! These were really easy to use, like every water decal I've ever tried from BPS.

The golden chain was very easy too. I just cut a piece off with some pincers (or to be more accurate: I let my boyfriend cut a piece off since I didn't want to ruin my freshly painted nails). They were really easy to cut.

I just applied the water decals and top coated them, then placed some little caviar beads on my nails too. I also applied some black tear shaped rhinestones, as you can see.

I applied the golden chain on top of my still wet top coat. I have to say that the chain fell of the day after, when I washed my hair, so I would suggest using some nail glue for it.

On the sheet of water decals, you get bows in all shapes! Super fun, you get such a wide variety of bows.

A little summary for each item!

BOW WATER DECALS

Price?: The bow water decals cost $2.31. You can choose from 3 sheets with different prints: 2 with bows and 1 with paisley print - I picked nr. DS-108. You get one sheet with plenty of images on it in various shapes. On my sheet, I got about 4 bows every time in the same design (if I spotted it correctly) so you can make a manicure with a few of the same bows.

Where can you get it?: You can find these bow water decals here on Born Pretty Store.

The final verdict: Happy!! These bows are so cute, easy to use, and I love that you get a whole variety of different shaped bows. The lace design around the bows is also a water decal, so you can use that in designs as well.

GOLDEN CHAIN

Price?: This golden chain costs $2.45. You can choose from 8 kinds of chains on the website, in a few different colours and some have rhinestones on them. I picked chain nr. 8. The chains are all 20cm long.

Where can you get it?: You can find this chain here on Born Pretty Store.

The final verdict: I love it! It's such a great way to spice up a manicure and you can combine these chains with so many designs. They were easy to cut too, and I'm really glad I now finally own some golden chains for nail art!

Discount? You can use the code XDX31 to get 10% discount on all your orders from Born Prety Store!

So, what do you think of these items? I think they're a great addition to any nail art lover's collection:)

Thanks for reading! (and just so you know: I have so much comments to approve and reply to, but they will have to wait until after my first exam on Monday!! I'm so sorry, booh studying. Two more weeks to go!)

  5. Love your nail art, but 4 coats! Woah, this is a no-go... I mean the color is cute, but 4 coats and even though a visible nail line... :-/
And boyfriends are perfect cutters, jean openers (when you have to go to the toilet mid painting), tissue reachers and openers for nearly everything you need whilst painting your nails!
    Yeah for our boyfriends! =)

    1. Yeah, I really have to find a good covering light pink polish!! This one and Essie's Muchi, Muchi aren't good for that :( Hehe I have never asked my boyfriend to open my jeans because normally I always remember to go to the loo before staring to paint, but maybe that day will come soon lol!
