What Indie Polishes to Buy? - I could use your input!

Hi everyone!

Today's blog post is basically me asking for your advice about indie polishes.

For my birthday a few months back I got an €50 Etsy gift card from my mom - I was so surprised that she even knew what Etsy was! At first, I thought I could buy some nice earrings with the gift card or something like that, but then it hit me: THEY SELL NAIL POLISH ON ETSY!

So of course, it's a done deal: I'm going to buy my first indie polishes with my gift card! * exciting!*

Now, I have never bought indie polish before, so here's where you all come in and give me some well-appreciated advice about it! Here's my current "thinking about buying this" list (beware: polish porn is coming and I am not responsible for any need you might feel after reading this post to purchase polish lol!)

So, here goes:
Popples
Popples - Pretty & Polished
Tomboyish Color Changing Polish - Pretty & Polished

Contraband - ILNP
(swatch picture taken from Very Emily's review)
Rehab - ILNP
Birefringence - ILNP
BUT: to see all the proper colour shifts, please go see this amazing post by Pshiiit!
She has the holographic version.

I've always wanted a thermal polish, and Tomboyish is just perfect. Usually I only like one of the two colours of a thermal but I LOVE both of these. Then, I've always wanted a white polish with neon glitter in, so Popples seems perfect! I'm quite certain I'll get these two. And I'm also quite certain about Contraband (I really want a dark purple) and Birefringence from ILNP (did you go see that post from Pshiiit because then you'd know what I mean oh boy colour shifts like crazy). However, I'm still doubting over Rehab. TOO MUCH PRETTY. CAN'T HANDLE. UGH.

So if you feel like I've totally actually missed the best ILNP polish and haven't put it in my list here, let me know! If you've had any experiences with these two brands, please tell! If you don't want to leave a comment here about it, you can also always send me an email! I'd appreciate it a lot :) And if you think "well, Rehab is pretty but (insert name) is even prettier and I know because I have them both," let me know!

Also: do you think I should get the "normal" Birefringence or get the holographic one? They're the same price, but I don't know if the holo would make that much difference to the prettiness of the polish? On the other hand, what's not to love about a bit of extra holo sparkle, right! And I love Pshiiit's pictures - she has the holographic one.

Thanks a lot in advance everyone! ;)

    3. Hehehe, absolutely! It's so hard to choose, ILNP has too many pretty polishes ;) I'm going to have to think everything through in the next few days, but I think I'll go with Rehab because it's just such a gorgeous colour!

  3. €50 on Etsy! That's so many nail polishes - you are so lucky! Oooh you should definitely buy some holos - Rehab looks so nice! Have you seen ILNP Sirène? - it's a gorgeous teal and purple multichrome! Ooh or how about Polish Me Silly polishes? - their thermals are amazing especially Minty Madness! Very Emily has swatches of both of those polishes - her swatches stunning! :)

    1. It is indeed! Unfortunately shipping to my country also costs a lot, so I'll be spending about 1/3 of my coupon on that :/ Sirène looks amazing, you're right! I've stalked Polish Me Silly's Etsy for a long time and love their polishes a lot, but I think I'll save them for a next purchase :)

    2. That's the same with shipping to the UK too! :/ Haha I'm like that with Polish me Silly too! I can't wait to see which polishes you end up buying! :)

  4. I don't have a lot of ILNP colors (yet) but really like the ones I have tried. In other brands, I tend to like my duochromes without holo--really lets the shift take center stage (and I can always add holo topper if I want to).
