Ice Queen

Hello everyone!

Today I have a water spotted manicure for you all!
I used a gorgeous blue Catrice polish as a base (unfortunately, the name on the polish has completely vanished because I've had it for so long) and did the water spotting technique with OPI's Push and Shove.

As you all know, P&S is a special polish so it didn't really behave as a normal polish would with the water spotting technique. I had to spray A LOT of perfume on it to keep the polish apart - otherwise, it would just all slide back together like it really didn't want to be seperated! Luckily for me, I never throw away perfume samples so I had a lot of perfume to use.

But eventually it worked! Yeey!

It reminded me of something icy and cold, hence the title of this blogpost. I was hoping Push and Shove would stand out more but it's not super visible against the blue background - I think it'd look gorgeous with a black base :)

That's it for today's post! It was a quick one because papers papers papers and fun deadlines!

Thanks for reading :)

  3. it reminds me of "Blei-Gießen" - a new year's eve tradition in Austria! you melt some lead (normally in shape of lucky charms, like pigs or cloverleafs) on a spoon and when it's liquid you splash it into a cup of water. afterwards the figure or it's shadow will predict your future! a silly tradition but real fun!
anyway, I like the look of it, but I agree with you, that maybe it would look better with a white base! :)

    1. I googled Blei-Gießen and that looks really cool! It sounds like a fun tradition. It also reminds me a bit of Harry Potter where they drink tea and then the tea leaves predict your future haha! :)
