Hi everyone!
Today I'm having a round-up post for the Nerd-Geek Challenge that Franzi from FrankieHuntersNails and I hosted!
We had 4 prompts for our challenge: favourite character, favourite movie, favourite tv-show, and favourite fantastical beast. Let's take a look at the amazing designs everyone who participated came up with!
Favourite Character
Nerdy & Fleurty came up with a Star Wars design with R2D2 and C3PO!
La Cajita De Diana made a design based on The Neverending Story and picked dragon Falcor as her inspiration!
On I Like The Night you can find a design with X-Men's Mystique!
Franzi did a design based on the game Mass Effect because she's not so secretly in love with Garrus Vakarian ;)
And I picked Rose Tyler from the tv-show Doctor Who as my favourite character! Here's the link to my blogpost and here you can see my design once more:
Favourite Movie
La Cajita De Diana did a design about the movie Beetlejuice!
Nerdy & Fleurty made nails based on Harry Potter and the Hogwarts Houses!
Franzi did a Star Wars design!
And I had the same idea as Nerdy & Fleurty and also picked Harry Potter for my design! Here's my blogpost and here is my design again:
Favourite Tv-Show
La Cajita De Diana did a design based on Star Trek!
Nerdy & Fleurty made this design based on The Big Bang Theory!
Franzi did nail art based on Battlestar Galactica - a show that I love as well!
And I did a design based on Firefly - here's the blog link and here is the design once more!
Favourite Fantastical Beast
Nerdy & Fleurty did some unicorn nail art!
Franzi had the same awesome idea and also picked a unicorn as her favourite fantastical beast!
And I picked Fawkes the phoenix from Harry Potter as my favourite fantastical beast! Here's the blog link and here's the design:
And of course I made a big collage of all the designs!
A big big thank you to everyone who participated - it was so fun seeing all your designs and getting to know everyone a bit better by seeing what their favourite movies or tv-shows are. Also a big big thank you to Franzi, I love that I got the chance to create this challenge with you and I hope that many more may follow! :D You've become such a good friend!

DeleteThese were all really brilliant but my favorites are your Firefly nails, those little clogs and things look so smart on your nails :D I also really like La Cajita De Diana's Falcor nails because falcor is just too cute!! xx

DeleteThis challenge was a quite interesting one and you made fantastic and original looking manicures. I especially loved the nail art base on Firefly, it totally blew my mind!
