Hi everyone!
First up, sorry for my absence! I've started an internship (which will continue throughout the entire Summer) so life has become very busy for me! However, life also has become very fun because I love the internship a lot! :D I won't have as much time to post on the blog this Summer - but I have a masterplan that will make up for that! More about that coming soon ;)
And now, it's shimmy shimmer time again! And more specifically, green shimmer time!
What polish?
Shimmer Polish Kelly, which has a clear base (though it does have a hint of green to it) with green and gold as the primary glitter colours. There's also some lovely turquoise in it! Shimmer Polishes cost $12 and come in bottles of 15ml.
Formula?
Easy! A nice thick base (the good kind of thick) that seals in the glitters very nicely. The glitters spread well too.
Coats?
On my accent nail in the first design I did 3 thick coats of Kelly. On the others I did 1 coat.
Where can you find it?
The Etsy shop for Shimmer Polish is here, however it seems to be down at the moment. No worries though, because you can order polishes through the site as well! Just click here :)
I did two designs with Kelly. First up, a nude/green combo! I used OPI My Vampire is Buff and an unnamed green Hema polish. Accent nail has three thick coats of Kelly.
And secondly, a blue/green gradient! Shimmer Polishes are always so perfect to put on top of gradients! I used the unnamed green Hema polish and Essie's Lapiz of Luxury.
To finish this post, a few close-ups as well:
So, that was Kelly! What do you think of her? I'm not really a green polish fan in general so she's not entirely for me, but that is very personal taste. I do adore the turquoise glitters in Kelly because they make her a bit more my taste again!
For more designs with Kelly, you can take a look here on the Shimmer Polish blog :)
Thanks for reading!

DeleteI'm also not so fond of green polish, however, I do think this one is great because of the gold glitters! ;) Good luck with your internship, by the way!
