Born Pretty Store Review: Crackle Leopard Studs

*Disclaimer: some items in this post were received for review. All opinions expresed are my own and are not influenced by anyone or anything.

Hiya! I'm back with another Born Pretty Store review for you! And this one is the most fun of them all, I think ;)

I have these really cool crackle leopard studs to show you - you can find them here on BPS. You all know how much I love leopard print, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that I love these!

I received a full nail wheel with 12 different kinds of studs: there are 2 shapes (circle and square) and 6 colours: pink, red, green, gold, white (which are all combined with black) and then light blue + copper. So all the different colour variations are in the nail wheel, plus they are in two different shapes too so you can pick which one suits your design best.

You get about 300 studs in the nail wheel, and they are 3x3mm. You can see them all in this picture:

As you can see, the white + black and the gold + black studs have a slightly different pattern from the rest. They look more "crackled" while the rest has more of a "splatter" pattern.

I decided to use the pink square studs and the white round ones. I paired them with Maybelline's Blackout and OPI's Amazing California Love (which is an insanely old bottle I have, so please excuse the flaws in the polish - I should really buy a new pink like this!)

I love the pattern on the studs, so I decided to recreate it a bit. I tried the splatter technique with a straw, but it really didn't look like splatter at all. I then decided to just dab on some black and pink polish and create the marbled effect - I love how this looks!

I placed the studs on my nail when the top coat was still wet, and then I sealed them in with top coat too. I wore this design for three days before I took it off, and all the studs stayed on great :)

Conclusion:

Price?: These super cool studs are only $2.63 right now! I was really surprised by this actually, because you get an entire nail wheel full of studs (300 pieces) and you get lot of variety in the studs. I love it!

Where can you get them?: You can find these studs on Born Pretty Store here.

Discount?: Yes! You may know this already, but I have a discount code for you! Enter XDX31 and you will get 10% off on all your orders!

The final verdict: YES. YES YES YES. I love these studs so much. They are cool, edgy, and they can make a really simple manicure instantly more punk rock whatever everything. For a really small price, you get a huge amount of studs and a good variety in them too. Go get these, seriously.

What do you think of these studs? They look so punk rock edgy to me :p

Thanks for reading!
