Summer of Guest Posts: FrankieHuntersNails!

Hi everyone!

Another Saturday, another amazing guest post in my Summer of Guest Posts series!

This time my dear friend Franzi from FrankieHuntersNails is up - and oh boys and girls, you will adore this design! I WANT THIS ON MY NAILS AND I WOULD NEVER EVER TAKE IT OFF AGAIN, that's how amazing it looks! <3 She brought lots and lots of pictures with her and you won't mind at all because it looks stunning!

So let's get started - Franzi, we're all ears!

Hellu ladies!

I'm Franzi from FrankieHuntersNails, and I'm more than happy to overtake Robin's blog for the second time now! It's always a pleasure to work with and for her and after our more or less successful collaboration challenge (who am I kidding? It was a great challenge and so much fun!), I couldn't say no, when Robin asked me to guest post for her again!

Because I nearly forgot to answer her request, I let her choose between some unposted manicures and I secretly hoped she will take the one, she really took in the end. With more pride than healthy I like to show you my "Awesome Summer Gradient":

O M G !! Yummy! I totally loved this look! I couldn't take my eyes off, they were glued to my nails! I was drooling the whole time I had these on, because it was a perfect gradient and to top all the perfectness, I topped it with China Glaze - Fairy Dust to make this delicious gradient more magical!

Here are the polishes I used (from light to dark):
O.P.I. - Alpine Snow (as a base, because most of the polishes are neon like)
China Glaze - Sun Worshipper (dark neon yellow or light neon orange, however you want to describe it)
Essie - saturday disco fever (neon orange)
Essie - bottle service (neon pink)
Essie - dj play that song (neon purple)
Essie - hide & go chic (medium blue)
China Glaze - Fairy Dust (my to-go holo glitter top coat)
Glisten&Glow - HK Girl Top Coat (for some extra shine)

A few days before I did this, I watched a video from Narmai from Piggieluv (here is the LINK), how to create a smooth gradient and I would really recommend to watch it. I did everything like her and it works perfectly! This is without a doubt one of the best basic nail art tutorials ever!

I also made some close ups for you to see all the sparkle and smoothness up-close!

It's not only the smoothness and perfectness I liked about these. It's also the Summer feeling these gave me. I was thinking about painting some palm trees over the gradient, but then I decided to simply add some Fairy Dust. It is true that Fairy Dust goes enormously well with gradients!
There is not much more to say about it, then: try it too and let me see it!

Ok, that's it! I hope you have nice Summer! Here in Austria where I live, it's a bit cooler at the moment after two freakin' hot weeks. But Summer is only pausing and weather forecast predicts hot weather in the weekend again!
Thanks for reading! Hope to hear from you all!

xoxo

Franzi
