Hi everyone!

It's been ages since I've written here on the blog. I'm not even sure I still know how all this works on Blogger lol. I'll be writing a bit more here below but this post comes down to this: after a 5 year break I am back, and you can find me on Instagram which is now my main outlet for my nail art and swatches! My username is roaring_nails

A few years ago I suddenly quit the blog: I got a very fun internship after my studies, and they even offered me a permanent position afterwards. It's still where I work today, 5 years later! The switch from school life to work life was overwhelming and suddenly I was incredible busy without time for my nails. In the beginning I thought I was just taking a break for a few weeks so it wasn't necessary to post anything about taking a small break on the blog. However, weeks turned into months and after a while it just become too embarrassing to make a post about taking a break, seeing as I had been taking a break for quite a while then haha :D

4 years went by with my rarely painting my nails anymore. I started biting them again (the reason I got into nail art was to stop biting), and last Summer I decided I wanted to have pretty nails again. I started up my IG account again, slapped on some polish, and after a few weeks of doing my nails I found to courage to get back in the game.

A lot of polish blogs I followed a few years ago aren't around anymore, and so are a lot of indie brands I used to buy from sadly. But I have met amazing new people who share this passion for nail art, and have found uncountable new indie brands I want polishes from so badly :D

Anyway, that's it for now. I just wanted to let everyone here know that I am around again, and that even though this blog won't be active anytime soon you can find all my new designs over on my Instagram page.

I'll be showing you a new polish today, but first I have some life stuff to share with you! You'll probably remember my Summer of Guest Posts, where I had amazing guest posts on my blog on Saturdays during the Summer, because I was very busy with an internship at that time. Thanks again btw to the lovely ladies who helped me out!!

Now, the most amazing thing has happened: my intership offered my a job!! I loved working there during my internship, so I was super happy when I could stay even longer (and get paid for it, haha!) However, this means I'll only have time for nail art during my Weekends, so I'll probably be posting only once a week here instead of twice, like I used to do. On the bright side though: I have a job :D *insert ABBA 'Money Money Money'*

I hope you'll all stick with me while I'm still adjusting to this new work rythm, and well, I just wanted to share this really great news with all of you :)
